My mother was mayor of a major Canadian city previously and as part of her position travelled internationally and met with foreign dignitaries. This paperweight was given to her by the Chinese government on a trip she took as a foreign dignitary on behalf of the Canadian government for the Beijing Olympics. This is a high grade item weighing almost 3 pounds with it's decorative presentation case and not a common tourist gift shop item. This should provide you with years and years of enjoyment.
