Alexander Haig served as Secretary of State in the Reagan administration for eighteen months. This copy is signed and inscribed by the author (as Al Haig) on the right front free endpaper, to Joseph A. Califano, Jr. and dated July 1984. Joseph A. Califano, Jr. served as a Special Assistant to President Johnson, and as the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare in the Carter Administration. This hardcover book is in LIKE NEW condition. Blue boards with black cloth spine and silver gilt title to spine; multiple pages of photographs. Interior pages are clean and unmarked.
